It develops the mathematics of SET, demonstrates its near equivalence to Schrödinger’s equation, and shows how the “Born rule” (equating probabilities to the absolute square of the wave function) is a consequence of the theory, not an assumption as in the standard theory. The section closes with a discussion of possible experimental tests of the theory.
